hand painted, hand cut & delicately layered

I begin all of my artworks by hand. I use watercolour and gouache on various textured papers which I delicately cut, meticulously arrange, layer and then glue onto handmade paper. My focus is always to create interest, depth and character through the playfulness and child like qualities that paper cutting is known for but maintain a timelessness and sophistication through my compositions and arrangements.
